The rosters for the first ever CCM All American Prospects Game, which will be held in Buffalo on 29 September 2012, were released today, and feature two Buffalonians, with forward Sean Malone, from West Seneca, leading the pair, accompanied by fellow forward Justin Bailey, of Williamsville.
Sean Malone stands at 5’11” and 185 pounds, and currently attends and players for Nichols School, in the city of Buffalo. (For those of you who don’t know where that is, it is on Amherst Street, in a kind of reasonable walk from the Amherst metro station.) He has scored a combined 100+ points in his three year career at Nichols, and had 34 goals and 36 assists last season alone. He was also named to the CISAA (Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association)’s all-star team, and was named to the All-Northwood Tournament Team, where he also won MVP. He will be a senior this fall, and is currently as such, uncommitted to a college as of right now. (Hopefully a future Golden Griff, but I digress)
Justin Bailey will be playing for the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL this year, turning down offers from places such as Michigan State to go play in the OHL. He is on Twitter, and his Twitter can be found here. His work ethic appears to be unmatched, which the majority of Sabres fans will adore, based on our collective like for players such as Paul Gaustad.
Anyways, get yourself down to the Prospects game, where 100 level seating at First Niagara Center is only 20$, and 10$ for the 300 level.
